Hallowed Trail is operated by 3rd Sector Tech(“we”, “us”), who is the data controller for the personal data described below.
We don't use tracking cookies or third-party advertising/analytics scripts.
To run the core features of the site — letting you sign in, tracking your visits and points, and showing your photos to other users. Our lawful basis is performance of the service you've asked for by creating an account (contract), or our legitimate interest in running and securing the site.
We use a small number of service providers (“processors”) to run the site:
Photos you upload and your display name/points/badges are visible to other users and visitors of the site, since that's the point of the feature. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
For as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your profile, check-ins, favourites, trips, badges, and photos are deleted immediately and permanently (including the underlying photo files in storage).
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict our processing of it. You can delete your own account and all associated data at any time from your profile page — no need to contact us. For anything else (e.g. requesting a copy of your data), email us below. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you think we've mishandled your data.
